1. Question: What is the objective of PinoyTop10.com ?

Answer: Our website aims to showcase the top 10 favorites and choices of Filipinos worldwide. We believe that our online polls will show this through our unique real-time daily voting system.

2. Question: Daily voting system? So you mean I can vote multiple times for my candidate?

Answer: Exactly. You can vote only once per day or in a 24-hour window. This means that, say for example, you voted for your candidate on Tuesday 9PM, you can only vote again on Wednesday 9:01PM. Our system detects your unique identifier online (such as username and IP addresses) to limit over clicking or over voting.

3. Question: Can I vote for multiple candidates and multiple polls as well?

Answer: Yes. Our goal is to show the top 10 favorites and choices of Pinoys worldwide. So you can vote as many candidates in as many polls as you like in any given day and vote again after 24 hours. All approved polls will be showing in our polls list and can be voted on.

4. Question: Can I suggest a candidate or candidates?

Answer: Yes. However, all candidate nominations will have to be approved by the Administrator and will stay pending until approved. Admin reserves the right to approve and delete any candidate at any given time.

5. Question: Can I suggest a top 10 poll?

Answer: Yes. But you have to register in order to suggest a poll. Once you have added your poll, you can also nominate your candidates to that poll. Once the poll is approved by Admin, it will be shown in our main page and other voters can start voting on your polls.

6. Question: When will the polls end?

Answer: Our polls will end at year end but we do have monthly cutoffs and the top 10 lists for each month are declared. Our monthly cutoff will be at exactly 11:59PM of the end date of each month. Our yearly Top 10 winners for the year will be declared on the eve of the new year celebration every year.

To recap, we have Top 10 Winners for the Month for each poll and other categories such as the top 10 Most Voted Candidates category. Then final winners for the year will be declared at the start of the new year. All winners listing will be declared in our sister website www.pinoytopten.com.

7. Question: Do I need to register to vote?

Answer: Yes. You need to register to vote for your candidates. Registration is easy. Just fill up our registration page, submit the details required, confirm your email address and that's it. Once registered, you can immediately vote.

8. Question: Why can't I log in to my voter's area?

Answer: There are several things the might have happened if you cannot login. First off, though silly, be sure you enter your correct username and password. We won't elaborate on that further.

Secondly, if this is the first time you will be logging into the site, make sure that you have confirmed your email address. Our regisration system requires that you click a link to the confirmation email we sent you. If you have not receive this email, you can click on the Forget Password link to retrieve it. If all else fail, contact us via our Contact Page or email us at admin <at> pinoytop10.com.

Another reason you will not be able to log in is when your account is blocked or banned. This happens when you violate the terms and conditions of this site. This site is being monitored by Admins and Mods and if we find someone violating our basic rules (like cheating, swearing or gravely bashing a candidate or another member or visitor), that member account will be blocked. We can unblock the account through an email appeal sent to admin <at> pinoytop10.com.

9. Question: I forgot my username or password, can you help me?

Answer: Of course. But first, please check our "Forgot Password" page to retrieve your username and password for yourself. If all tries fail, contact us via our Contact Page or email us at admin <at> pinoytop10.com

10. Question: Why is the site Admin so strict? Isn't this just for fun?

Answer: We believe that this should be fun and we will strive hard to make this site a pleasurable experience for you all the way. However, we need to discipline some people who just wants to annoy the site. We will not allow them to make others feel bad or uncomfortable. We believe we can have fun in a humane way. One of the the basic rules on this site is no swearing and no grave insult to anyone or any candidate. If any member will do that, we will either block the account or ban the person on our site. We may be strict but it sure is not funny if there are annoyance on the site. So understand that we do this for all members and visitors as well.

11. Question: OK, so what are the basic rules on this site?

Answer: NO Swearing, NO Putdowns, NO Insulting and NO Cheating. Bad words and comments are not tolerated in our comments section and in our Voters' Campaign Shoutbox. If you have no good things to say on our site, better not say it. We believe this is best to make this community a better place to interact with other people. Admins and Mods reserve the right to delete inappropriate comments on our Shoutbox and comments page.

12. Question: Can I campaign on the Shoutbox and the comments page ?

Answer: Absolutely. Those sections of the site is meant to give you the opportunity to tell the world why your candidate is best and why the others should vote for them. But remember that Admins and Mods reserve the right to delete inappropriate comments on our Shoutbox and comments page. You can even close alliances and exchange deals there as we have seen in this site.
